The Real Reason I Was Fired

I had a sneaking suspicion that the reason I was fired was to re-hire the person I had replaced. This made sense because his mom was the office manager (for 18 years), and his wife was the scheduler (for 2 years), and he had worked there for 10. I kinda let the thought slip from my mind thinking it was too messed up to be the truth. But then it occurred to me, if they let me go then WHO would be doing all the work? So, I called and guess who answered? The person I had replaced. This only confirmed what I had suspected. I wasn't fired due to lack of patient flow or low hours, I was fired because the person I had replaced didn't like his new job and wanted to come back. So they fired me, and rehired him. Now I know who's hiring though. And I applied for that job that he left.
